Pink Water
This piece is about the relationship between fluidity and structure. The rocks represent structure while the balloons and water represent fluidity. The two themes are also represented in the person's pose and patterned skin.
City Life
City Life is about the stress of everyday. In the image the women's body is starting to fall apart and turn pink. This symbolizes the stress we put on our body. We often ignore the signs our body give us, as there are more "important" things to do.
This image uses photography mix with 2d and 3d elements. The view outside the window is actually the view outside my own house. The room is 3d and the women was drawn in.
Wild Garden 2
Another render in the Wild Garden series. Wild Garden is about the freedom and playful nature of being alone in a large grass field. It was inspired by an image I saw while on Pinterest. The image was of an overgrown and unkept garden. I loved the colors and the explorative "vibe" of the photo.
My Room
My room is a visual representation of my dreams. It was created using 3d object except for the sky which I painted. It uses a blend of mediums that I enjoy, photography, 3d and 2d "illustrations". The color pink is also repeated through out this image as it best represents me and what my work is about.
Isolation
Despite already making a render about quarantine I made a second one. Isolation is about the many social issues that took place during quarantine. How at times it felt like I was in a glass room I could see the outside but I could do nothing. The triangles represent the numerous problems. The brightness of this piece relates to the season/time period.
My Heart
This was an attempt to work through complicated emotions and thoughts on communication and connecting to others.
Skies
Skies is a composited image that uses elements of photography and 3d to create this fantastical image.
Shrooms
When I was 10, we had these "wild" mushrooms that grew in the fields outside my house. They randomly disappeared one day and one of my neighbors did too. Once I was older I understood happened to them. Shrooms is an ode to that story.
P1an3t Luv3
P1an3t Luv3 is inspired by the goddess of Venus. This scene is a reimagined version of the planet Venus.
Travller
On Show at Nuit Blanche
Traveller is a 3d scene that takes inspiration from Ianin S. Thomas' The Traveller. The prose can be seen on the side of the bus stop. "Traveller" is a summary of how quarantine and social distancing has felt.
